Nasarawa Holds Gala Night For UNICEF Conference Attendees

A night of music and dances has been held for attendees of a UNICEF top policy makers meeting scheduled to hold in Lafia on Monday, August 18, 2003. The gala night that was held at the Ibrahim Abacha Youth Center was meant to formally welcome the guests to Nasarawa State.
Attended by Governor Adamu and the Deputy Governor, Labaran Maku, it was a hilarious night as musicians and dancers of various shades entertained the guests. Represented at the hall were guests from Plateau, Gombe, Yobe, Borno, Bauchi, Kano, Taraba, Adamawa, Jigawa and the host state, Nasarawa. They are in Lafia as representative of the Zone D coverage area of the UNICEF.
Governor Adamu will formally open the meeting.
