Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, says Sen. Bola Tinubu, the party’s 2023 presidential candidate, is APC’s project.

He said this on Thursday in Abuja while speaking with newsmen at the Abuja residence of Tinubu where he went to congratulate him for emerging as the party’s presidential flagbearer.

The National Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC) Abdullahi Adamu on Thursday led members of the National Working Committee (NWC) to visit Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the party’s 2023 presidential candidate.

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Abdullahi Adamu has assured the presidential candidate of the party, Bola Tinubu that every one is committed to the campaign to ensure the party triumph during the 2023 elections.

He stated this when he led the party’s national working committee (NWC) members to visit Tinubu in Abuja on Thursday. He said the purpose of the visit was to congratulate him on his victory.

The Coalition of Progressive Youths in Nigeria and Diaspora (COPY-ND), has dispelled as mischievous, all accusations of threats by the National Chairman Sen Abdullahi Adamu, to the due process that eventually produced the flagbearer of the APC party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a statement issued by the COPY-ND’s Director General, Dr Aminu Abdullahi Isyaku, said the success and the outcome of the just concluded special convention is a vindication of the Senator Abdullahi Adamu against “such malicious accusations that he was not in support of the emergence of HE Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Adamu assumes office as APC chairman, speaks on plans for party, 2023

Mr Adamu says his main task is to lead APC to victory in the 2023 general elections.

The newly elected National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Adamu, on Wednesday, admitted that he never knew he would occupy the party’s top seat a month before the party’s National Convention. The ruling party held its national convention on March 26 after controversies and two postponements.

Having been named President Muhammadu Buhari anointed candidate, the former two-term governor of Nasarawa State, emerged the party’s consensus candidate after six other aspirants reluctantly withdrew from the race hours into the convention.

Mr Adamu officially assumed office by receiving instruments of office from the immediate-past interim chairman of the party and Governor of Yobe State, Mala Buni, at the party’s national headquarters in Abuja.

BORDER CLOSURE: Senator Adamu Urges Farmers to Take-Up the Challenge.

Senator (Dr.) Abdullahi Adamu (APC, Nasarawa West Senatorial District) has called on Nigerian farmers to take full advantage of the present border closure to enhance the production of staple food in order to fill the vacuum of demands for the growing population of Nigerians created by the closure. Senator Adamu made the call in his welcome speech on the occasion of the 12th Annual Agriculture Show held in Auta-Balefi, Karu LGA of Nasarawa State from 14th – 19th October, 2019. In his words, “They (farmers) continue to put up a gallant struggle against the encroachment of food imports that threaten to disempower and displace them and weaken the pillars of our independence”.
