The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Senator (Dr.) Abdullahi Adamu has commended the cordial relations existing between Nigeria and China. He made the commendation when the representative of the Communist Party of China, Wu Baocai paid him a courtesy call in his office.

Adamu stated that China is a good development partner to Nigeria through various infrastructural and development projects carried out in the country. He said that China was providing much funding for the projects which the Buhari administration is implementing to change the face of Nigeria. Recalling his many associations with China, he urged Mr. Baocai to ensure that the Communist Party of China and Nigeria’s All Progressives Congress (APC) collaborated to ensure stronger bi-lateral relations.

Speaking earlier, Mr. Baocai expressed satisfaction with relationship which exists with the ruling party of Nigeria. He stated that there has been exchanges between the ruling parties of China and Nigeria. In that regard, he invited the APC to join the next meeting of the Chinese Communist Party online to enable the APC share experiences on Chinese party issues.

Mr. Baocai used the opportunity to also extend an invitation to the APC to send a study delegation to China to understudy party organization in China.
